This is on Windows XP Pro.

I downloaded and installed the CORBA plugin, 
version 1.5.1, into Netbeans 3.6.

I tried double-clicking an IDL file from the 
Filesystems view.

This appeared to hang the UI. (No refresh, but 
the Task Manager still reported NetBeans 
as "Running" rather than "Not Responding.") Maybe 
this is a deadlock?

The CORBA module is older module and was not tested with NetBeans 3.6.
Could you be so kind and attach Thread Dump.

This bug was reported against NetBeans IDE 6.0 or an older release, or against a non-maintained module. NetBeans team does not have enough resources to get to this issue, therefore we are closing the issue as a WONTFIX.
