switch to search in User`s Guide and start search for XML, then try the links
the sane try for awt (Designing visually...)
the same try for Editor (Opening the Form ..., Designing visually with Form editor)
(Opening ... = com/netbeans/developer/modules/usersguide/visual3.htm)
(Designing ... = com.netbeans/developer/modules/usersguide/visual2a.htm)
