to reproduce:
1) create a WP
2) open the project customizer
3) select Compiling Sources node
=> NPE is thrown and the panel is not rendered

This issues should be fixed asap, since it blocks
quite large part of the ide functionality to be
tested (you cannot add any libs or jars into $cp)
- marking as T9Y bug.
