hi, NetBean 3.6 beta, today downloaded. I am doing very simple and small thing. Tool-->options-->A big window with so many options will open [I like these options :)]. Now I stretch this winodow and released. The scrollbars kept on getting smaller and window kept of getting bigger and bigger. This is MAJOR bug and must be fixed ASAP. It is always reporducible. Pls update me if u need more information about it. sanjeevd@solutionsny.com
Strech this window and release? You mean resizing it, or moving it around? Please also attach your <userdir>/system/ide.log file
TM -> promo-D. We need more info to be able to reproduce the problem, otherwise it cannot be fixed
Hi, I am back. I don't mean moving. I don't mean maximising it by pressing middle button of JFrame. I mean just resizing it. As the window is resiziable, u just take ur cursor to any of its edge. Cursor will acquire the shape of "<-->" & then stretch it little and release it. You will find the result. One thing more. Processor Resource becomes 100%. It's going to be fun everytime. My *FAV* IDE must not contain such a major Bug. Pls fix it ASAP. Infact I am surprised that how was gone undiscovered by NETBEANS. Pls let me know if the problem is stilln't clear. Looks like a duplicate of issue 37379 which is already fixed - is it reproducible with a current development build?
Surprise !!!!!!!!!!!! when I ran the IDE with metal look & feel by writing "-ui javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel" in ide.cfg file, problem solved. why so and what to do :( Sanjeev
It looks like fixed in FCS. At least I cannot reproduce it. NetBeans IDE 3.6 (Build 200404071636), Win XP, JD 1.4.2_04. (Default L&F ie. Win L&F) Please verify. Thanks.
