Some panes, as the one that resumes the installation, don't show their contents. You need to move, resize, iconize the window in order to see what is it.

Mandrake Linux 9.2, KDE 3.1

Almost each time I install NB I get some pane half/completely
unwritten. It's disconcerting, since it shows a blank screen where,
for instance, should appear that the installer is ready to start and
the space that will be used.

Karel, Can you reproduce this issue? I don't have a mandrake system to
do any testing on.

Lluis, Does this happen with different jdk's or just with 1.4.2_02? I
think jdk 1.4.2_04 has just been released so I would be interested in
knowing if the problem goes away with a different jdk. If 1.4.2_0X
still has problems, try 1.4.1_0X. I'm sorry to have to ask you to do
the legwork for me but I can't even try to reproduce this without a
machine to test on. I haven't seen this problem on any of the
platforms we do have.

Ok, give me two hours. I'm using J2SDK 1.4.2_03, only the simplified
issue form for NetCAT participants does not have this option.

Ok, this is what I get:

J2SDK 1.4.2_03: At fourth attempt the Installation Preview Panel was
blank.

J2SDK 1.4.2_04: I give up, after 10 attempts hasn't failed.

J2SDK 1.5.0 (Beta): At first attempt the Installation Preview Panel
was blank.

Some comments on the tests. I ensured which JVM was working by
renaming J2SDK folders. This leads to installer not finding JVM, thus
I had to start it using -is:javahome parameter.

proposed release note:

"Description: On Mandrake Linux 9.2, some installer panes do not
initially display contents.

Workaround: Manually resize the installer pane so that the text appears."

I just installed NB3.6 final release and it happened again. I changed
summary to concrete which panel isn't showing.
