Description zikmund 2004-01-28 19:30:04 UTC
Build 200401271900-ismp5

1) Install
2) See <NetBeans directory>/bin
POSSIBLE ERROR: There are these files:
runide.sh
.runide_defaults.sh
runideos2.cmd
runide.exe
macosx_launcher.dmg
ide.cfg
runidew.exe
ide.policy
runideopenvms.com
runide_exe_defaults

--> I think some of them are linux only ...
therefore they should be cleaned up.

QUESTION: Any idea why there are 2 exe files
"runide" and "runidew" -- what I tried, they
behave in same manner.
Comment 1 George Hernandez 2004-02-04 03:27:52 UTC
I don't know why there are two windows executables, but it's been that
way for a few versions.
Comment 2 George Hernandez 2004-02-24 00:36:05 UTC
I don't know why there are two windows runide files either. Need to
ping someone in core group maybe?

I can delete the following with no hesitation:
.runide_defaults.sh
runideos2.cmd
macosx_launcher.dmg
runideopenvms.com
Comment 3 zikmund 2004-02-24 09:25:45 UTC
Well, it would be good to delete them.
Skip 2 runide.exe files problem, I'll investigate it in promo-D when
moving to NetBeans.exe. Thanks.
Comment 4 George Hernandez 2004-02-29 02:41:15 UTC
Restructured the cleanup methods into one method that removes unused
files.
Comment 5 zikmund 2004-03-03 14:10:16 UTC
Verified in 200403021830 build.

BTW: do you have any knowledge about the "runide_exe_defaults" file
usage and module's membership?
