Description foongkim 2003-09-08 09:12:46 UTC
Hi. I have download the latest Netbean 3.5.1. But
I surprise the tomcat server running is 4.0.6
which is quite sometime in the market.

When I want to run one of the struts application
(in war ) format, I totally can not run.

Afterthat, I decided to download the newer
version of the tomcat, Tomcat 4.1.27 and I can
deploy and run my struts fine...

Thus, I strongly suggest, or doubt, have you
tested your IDE with the latestt Struts in the
market which is version 1.1?

If not, why not? NetBean 3.5.1 is the latest
version but couldn't support the struts or event
not yet update the Tomcat, it';s seems a little
bit funny right?

I am so sorry to disturb. But can anyone respond to this question or
query? please...

The short answer is that you are right, we should support Struts 1.1
and it's a bad thing that we don't. There is a way to use Tomcat 4.1.x
with NetBeans, though, so I suggest you try it out. See also knowledge

Latest Struts 1.2.2 works fine with 4.0.
Marking as fixed.
