User problem:

It is hard to locate a file currently being edited
in editor in the explorer.

User need:
-----------------------------------
The user needs to navigate to a source he is
currently editing to be able to perform some
operations on it, or on its siblings (file sin the
same package).

I propose to close this issue as a duplicate of issue 6559. There is
much more feedback there.
