Description mvinar 2003-08-21 11:01:58 UTC
User problem:
-----------------------------------
--

User need:
-----------------------------------
The user often stares at the reported compiler
error for minutes, only to figure out that he is
missing a semicolon or a closing bracket. A novice
Java developer has often hard time to figure out
how to fix certain compilation problem. Both of
those users would benefit from the IDE giving
hints about how particular problem can be solved
and automating the fixing process.

Product requirement:
-----------------------------------
AutoFix - suggest fixes on errors detected in the
editor or by compiler (do not distinguish), with
the option to automatically perform them.
