When I open NB it always show the component palette as Windows PL&F. When I choose Metal from the Look&Feel menu nothing happens. I must choose Metal->Windows->Metal to get what I need.
(BAT) I have notice that only some tabs tends to this behavior e.g. AWT after a restart
[BAT] also in the Look&Feel menuitem  is selected Window L&F after a restart

The L&F switching is only partial. I use NetBeans on Win95 and have changed the
Look&Feell to "Metal". This results into mixed menues where for example the
first 4 menuitems have the Windows L&F and the last ones the Metal L&F.
