Description jkang 2003-08-04 07:21:47 UTC
Start the installer on Solaris GNOME environment,
and click the "Next" to enter/modify the
installation directory. You can't see the
directory name and you can enter any characters
when you try to modify/enter the directory name.

This problem exists on Solaris GNOME only. The
installer works fine on Solaris CDE.

it is a color issue. the text (including cursor) fgcolor is white and
bgcolor is light yellow. that cause it is hard to distinguish the
text. when double-clicking on the text field and copy/paste to other
windows, you can see the input string. i don't know if it depends on
user's setting, but it is ok on cde with the same setting.

Fixed in 3.6 installer.
