if you try to access the update center through a proxy 
server which requires password authentification (i. e. in 
an intranet), the update center cannot be reached.

there is no possibility to use the update center with this 
kind of proxy servers.

Sorry, AU relyies on the proxy handling in the JDK, which does
not support this feature. The only think we can do is to set the proxy
and let URL handlers handle it.

Not planned for future releases, closes as WONTFIX.
