Pressing Alt-C just _C_loses the dialog.

BTW use org.openide.awt.Mnemonics to put the
mnemonic on the 2nd uppercase 'C', not the first 'c'.

This bug is not in NB 3.5 thanks to bug #31651 - the Close button has
no mnemonics.
