Description zongming 2003-04-24 03:34:31 UTC
after one years of use, i found netbeans is very powerful and
extremely flexible ide tool. it really remove lots of dirty work
from programmer side. here I want to point out a specific feature
that's VERY worthwhile to note. Comapred with other popular IDE, i
find the refacotring support in netbeans is very weak. though
already you have refactoringit module,but
it is limited and have its own restricition of use. considering the
critical part refactoring play in modern programming, esp XP, I
think refactoring should be an integral part of IDE release, it
event deserves a first level menu in ide main screen. to quote from
Martin Fowler:automatic refacoring is the most important advances
in programming since the IDE.

Best regards

James
