Description _ gordonp 2003-03-26 22:17:45 UTC
When a file is opened in the externaleditor various
commands are sent from the exted to the editor. The
getLength function is sent before any data is inserted
into the buffer so it always returns 0.

I don't see this causing any problems but its
something
which potentially could.
