I plan to abandon Russian 3.4.1 localization and start 
localizing NetBeans 3.5, which is on the way, and is 
certainly more mature (esp. in Performance area).

This is a story issue to track progress.

Merged the files, changed/added in release341 branch, to 
trunk.

Phase one complete!
All the UI is done, the online help remains. I'd like to target the
Online Help translation to NetBeans 4.0 Yogjakarta.

Two issues remain: 
issue 33798 - unability to translate installer
issue 33799 - unability to build NetBeans with Russian l10n .jars
packaged along.

All the pending issues fixed, now there's nothing 
preventing to have Russian Tegal FCS (when "simple" Tegal 
FCS is ready, of course).

FYI:
Russian installers are available on NB 3.5 Release Candidate download
page http://www.netbeans.org/downloads/ide/next.html and on
Development download page
http://www.netbeans.org/downloads/ide/development.html

Let me know whether IDE's and NBM's .zip|.tar.gz|.tar.bz2 packages
with prepackaged russian localization should be available on these
pages too (the next.html is intended only for IDE inst. and pkgs., but
the development.html could hold all of them).

Rudolf, I'm not sure.
I think that (hoping there'll also be Japanese NetBeans), thare will
be too many files (with all these .zip, .bzip etc).

.zip is enough, I suppose, though .tar.gz and .bzip give better
compression.

So there will be installers for different platforms and one
w/o-installer .zip.

Is it OK?

Maxym,

japanese and chines NetBeans are planned long a few weeks after
english NetBeans 3.5 final. Russian is the only localization currently
available/ready for NetBeans 3.5 final.

I'm ready/able to put on website these types of prepackaged russian files:
- native installers (linux, windows, solaris sparc, solaris x86)
- compressed IDE packages (.zip, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2)
- russian prepackaged NBMs packages (.zip, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2)

If I understood well, you want to just publish the native installers
and one compress IDE .zip package.
 I will publish it this way.

commited) some bugs in RC3
