Description andrew 2003-02-26 14:52:10 UTC
build from dev. trunk, win xp, j2se 1.4.1_01

After yesterday updating from CVS trunk any
CVS command gives this error:

cvs.exe [update aborted]: cannot create socket: Unknown socket error: 10106

I have tried to find the reason of 10106 winsock error,
but all I have found - "may be windows system files
are not found".

I have tried clean build and clean user dir, different
CVS servers with the same result.

I'm not sure this is the genericvcs module issue,
nevertheless this module is unusable for me now :-(

Today updaiting didn't help.

Hmmm, this looks like a serious problem. I suppose that from the
command prompt everything works O.K. This is the third issue for the
same problem in a short time. This is in fact a duplicate of issue
#31445.
