reproducible on Sol5.8, CDE, [nb_dev](20030221), [jdk1.4.2](b16)
Strange, I cannot reproduce the no menu problem, but I do find that double clicking items in the list sometimes produces no effect.
I am able to reproduce the bug with versions 3.4.1, 3.5, 3.5.1 but not with version 3.6 (beta available, final version to be released soon). (tested with Linux/PC, J2SDK 1.4.2_03)
