Description _ pkuzel 2002-10-07 14:26:26 UTC
Currently I18n module defines its private
"Internationalization" mode. The mode is used only
for I18n task. It complicates user configuration.

I can see 9 modes in IDE some of then could be
unified:
  - search result mode
  - internationalization mode
  - options mode
  - properties mode
  - output window mode

An acompaning layout manager supporting
wide&narrow contrains should be introduced as
well. I mean that a panel could be shown as (low
and wide) or (tall and narrow). The layout
manager'd rearange components to be useable
without scrollbars in both views.

Petr, could you describe the idea in more detail please? I do not understand
what do you mean with "It complicates user configuration."
Comment 2 _ pkuzel 2005-05-16 09:28:54 UTC
User must explicitly configure i18n window location. By default it should appear
at same place as all other 'tools' windows (i.e. bellow editor?).
Comment 3 Marian Petras 2005-05-16 14:34:44 UTC
The Internationalize... window is displayed in its own window. It would be
better (easier to use) if it were docked into some fixed part of the IDE window
(like the Search Results window is).

Obsolete target milestone. Change from 6.x to TBD
