when clicking on NetBeans icon it shows the Netbeans loading modules. but after that, it does not open. I thought that uninstalling and then reinstalling would fix that but at the time of uninstalling a dialog box pop up showing that " it appears that following instance of  Netbeans are still running" " a lock file exists. close this lock file prior to uninstallation".
