Created attachment 164403 [details] cannot create setuptools project for windows msg I am trying to set-up a python project on netbeans 8.2, however I am getting the "cannot create setuptools project for windows" error. any ideas ? picture attached.
Hi, There is a bug in the current release that prevent setuptools projects to be created on windows. This is why creation is currently disabled. Normally, this is fixed in these NBM: https://bitbucket.org/Jenselme/nb-contrib/downloads/2016-10-11-nbpython-nbms-8.2.zip (development version but they should work correctly: I use them daily on linux). To install them: uninstall the python plugin, unzip the downloaded file, installed the NBM files included in the zip.
