Same situation (hs_err_pid attached). 
Other Java application are runnable, the problem only with installer.

I tried with different JDKs: 8u112-i586, 8u112-x64, 8u131-x64

Solved: weird, but GodMode shortcut on my desktop caused it.

Yep, it worked thanks bro.
But very weird, God mode doesn't have anything to do with JVM.

After installing Netbeans I recreated a GodMode folder again. As I see, while GodMode exists Netbeans not able to open projects, it crashes. 
It looks that Netbeans and GodMode are not good firends. :)

But these guys are not responding to any bugs or problems. Is netbeans development dead?

Workaround: put GodMode into a subfolder not directly to the desktop. This folder you should not browse with filechooser when opening a project.
