Tools, Options, C/C++, Project Options tab dialog box 'Make Options' has no effect on the resulting invocation of the Build Command. The Build Command always invokes the build command as "make -d -f Makefile" - I want it to do something else !

'Make Options' property makes sense only for "Managed" projects.
For projects with existing sources you should edit property "Project properties"->"Build"->"Make"->"Build/Clean Command"
