"splash screen closed, but IDE never comes out."

What does that mean?
Comment 2 mcheung63 2017-06-04 14:43:08 UTC
when starting netbeans, splash come out, then it disappear, but the netbeans main screen never come out.
Comment 3 Geertjan Wielenga 2017-06-04 14:46:56 UTC
That means you are never able to start NetBeans. You have never seen NetBeans, you have never used it, because you're unable to start it?

Just remove the user directory (http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqWhatIsUserdir) because based on your other 'issues', it sounds like you've installed your own broken modules into your development environment.
