This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 257877, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

After 3 weeks I finally found out, how to resolve this stupid bug!!!!!

To not lose all your settings and plugins, simple delete this one file:

Path: c:\Users\{$USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\dev\config\Modules\

File: org-eclipse-mylyn-commons-repositories-core.xml_hidden

This file has 0 B, and when you delete it (or move somewhere away), the NB will start normally without stupid bug reporting...

Uff...
