Open Project properties -> Testing -> Add Folder

Opens add folder dialog at netbeans nbproject folder location, which is somewhere else but not in the projects root, so you have to navigate all the way back to your project's root and select a folder every time.

what should have happened is dialog should be opened at Project's root location.

What project type is your project? Java, JS, PHP?
