Right now, we have the "Quickstart: Basic Starter Template with Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit Pre-configured" as a project template in the New Project wizard, as well as the "Component Interactions" sample. It would be great if we'd also have "Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit : Base Distribution" -- which is a better starting point when you're learning about JET, since it provides absolutely no sample code at all (well, apart from the main-template.js, which is great). Please go here, get the "Base Distribution", and include support for it in the Oracle JET Support plugin: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jet/downloads/index.html
Tomas's area?
So, should it be a sample or a new project wizard? Thanks.
Looking into NB sources, we need the exact URL of the ZIP file. Unfortunately, the URL from the download page [1] cannot be used since the page requires a license agreement. Thanks. [1] http://download.oracle.com/otn/JET/112/oraclejet.zip
From private e-mail: The Base Distribution template should be a New Project wizard, while the Quick Start template (which is already there) should move to the Samples category.
Reopening, we now have the URL.
Should be done now, please verify. Thanks. http://hg.netbeans.org/web-main/rev/dfd7947ee463
Integrated into 'main-silver', will be available in build *201603110002* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/rev/dfd7947ee463 User: Tomas Mysik <tmysik@netbeans.org> Log: #257175 - Base Distribution as a NetBeans project template
