Description saipanman95 2015-12-11 13:20:58 UTC
System seems to loose insertion point with cursor. I see a the possible root cause related to using synergy but did not have this issue prior to upgrading to Netbeans 8.1

Details:
My personal Mac uses Synergy as server to share mouse and keyboard to my work Mac, which runs as client and is also where I am running Netbeans 8.1. If I switch insertion point to my personal Mac and then later switch back to my work Mac, Netbeans 8.1 looses insertion point completely as well as mouse and keyboard funtionality. All other applications remain fine. The only recourse at this point is to shut down Netbeans which causes more issues because now Netbeans wont start back up unless I reboot the Mac -- totally not acceptable.

I tested this scenario on 8.0.2 and have the similar issues but just have to close Netbeans and restart. Not sure why in 8.1 I loose complete control of keyboard and mouse. Keep in mind I can't even close 8.1 unless I kill the java process.

I appreciate any comments and suggestions how to remedy this. For now going back to Netbeans 8.0.2.
