Description iceflower 2015-12-09 15:03:12 UTC
I have set up a HTML5 project. When I type within a html file I hear that there is a hard disk access - for every typing! When I type within a JavaScript file I hear no drive access so it must be related to some html component. I deactivated a bunch of modules (git, history, ...) but it did not help. I have no idea what's causing the issue.

Someone posted a similar problem in the forum: https://forums.netbeans.org/topic63040.html

Please help me!

I also hear a hard disk access when I hit return in XML or JavaScript files. If I hold return in these files the hard drive keeps on rattling.

Back in 2011, the same issue (high disk usage, even when just hitting return): http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7537513/netbeans-optimize-disk-usage
