When I run 8.1 (full install) for a short amount of time (10 minutes) even if I only have a single project open and do nothing, other applications become unusable (Skype, Spotify, TexMaker). If I close Netbeans and restart those apps, they run fine. The errors they throw are related to shared memory segments - but they don't crash, just get very buggy.

I downgraded to 8.0.2 and this issue seems to have gone away
