Description shadyyx 2015-10-22 09:17:38 UTC
Netbeans IDE 8.0.2, build 201411181905
NB IDE JIRA Task repository plugin v. 1.52.1
JIRA v. 6.4.10

This JIRA plugin comes with two connectors: one for JIRA 3.13+ and one for JIRA 5.0+.

Unfortunately with the first connector (for 3.13+) I cannot update and see tickets from newly added project in JIRA repository.

With the newer connector (for 5.0+) I cannot even connect at all - the connection is set up properly but whenever the plugin tries to connect to repository a login screen (to check my credentials and connection settings) pops up. After validating I can see in green "Validation complete" (or something like that) and after clicking on OK the windows pops up again - in never ending loop - even clicking on Cancel triggers the window to pop up again until the whole IDE freezes.

No errors, no exceptions...

One question: in the plugins window the description for JIRA plugin says: "allows connection to JIRA from version 3.0 up to 6.0" - which is not completely true as I can connect to current repository with the 3.13+ connector though I cannot see projects and issues created within the newer version.

Why is the plugin not update for newer JIRA versions?
