1. Create a Maven JSF project using Tomcat 8.0.22 2. Add the JSF 2.2.11 dependency in the POM 3. Goto project properties and select the Tomcat 8.0.22 server. 4. Goto project properties->Frameworks->Configuration->Preferred page language and choose Facelets and click OK. 5. Go back to properties->Frameworks->Configuration->Preferred page language and look and see that it shows Facelets and then click OK. 6. Repeat step 5, but notice the Configuration changed back to JSP. Results: Configuration was changed to JSP although Facelets was selected. This even happens when I click the Cancel button or the red X.
