Sorry, the plugins was : - JS CSS Minify compress - JSLint + all default netbeans 8.0.2 plugins

Ok, so detailed steps: 1) install and start NB 8.0.2 (Java EE version) 2) install 2 plugins: JSLint and JS CSS Minify compress (both available on Plugin Portal UC) 3) quit NB 8.0.2 3) install and start latest dev. build (Java EE version) 4) wait 50 seconds for plugin import notification 5) import both plugins The problem seems to be in org.netbeans.modules.autoupdate.pluginimporter module, which should use similar logic as in issue #247884 to restart IDE. Reassigning to Plugin Importer.

Today I installed 8.1Beta on my Win64 PC. There was only one plugin to import (nodejs) and it imported it without any issues. Perhaps it is plugin-specific?
Fix - http://hg.netbeans.org/core-main/rev/57aaa4ae82d9 IDE requires restart to import such plugins.
