Description marckoby 2015-05-19 10:47:35 UTC
"Initializing project..." indefinitely after a restart of Netbeans.

"Opening Projects." forever in status bar, stuck at 0 progress.

Cannot therefore expland project tree, search for files, etc.

Single project open.

File are on Samba share \\host\projectDir on local fast LAN with no access problems.

Closing this project results in near-hang: Netbeans becomes unusable for editing, event attempt to exit program is ignore. Have to kill proocess with taskman after that.

"framework-standard-edition" show up after php in the left pane, even though this project does have a specific name (when its properties were accessible form the right-click menu, unlike now).

Because there is no error in the attached IDE log, please, create a profiler snapshot [1] so we can investigate this problem. Simply:

- start NetBeans without the problematic project
- start profiling
- open the project
- after some time (1 minute should be totally OK) stop profiling

Then reopen this issue and attach the profiler here.

One idea - you can try to map your network drive to a letter/drive, it could help.

Thanks.
