I could not install NB just by running the script for the version below. Looks like this has been solved on the forum here: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/59236/netbeans-8-wont-install-on-fedora-21/?answer=59328#post-id-59328 ... by specifying the java home directory, which worked for me. But I did not see this in the bug database.
