Description tbrunhoff 2015-05-02 18:11:18 UTC
I could not install NB just by running the script for the version below. Looks like this has been solved on the forum here:

    https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/59236/netbeans-8-wont-install-on-fedora-21/?answer=59328#post-id-59328

... by specifying the java home directory, which worked for me. But I did not see this in the bug database.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201503240001)

User directory: /home/toddb/.netbeans/dev
Cache directory: /home/toddb/.cache/netbeans/dev

.... however, with the added command line arguments, it succeeds:

    bash netbeans-trunk-nightly-201505050001-linux.sh --javahome /usr/java/latest
