I get a problem to submit a task to my newly setup bugzilla server.  The bugzilla server works fine from web browser and I can validate the username/password from netbeans version control.  However, I can not submit a task to the bugzilla server.


Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_40
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b56

I don't see the login request is sent out from network monitor when I use username: liang.chen@topic-value.com as login account.  Does the netbeans filter out the username as email format?

your bugzilla is 4.4.9 and that wasn't supported in NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905)

please try a current dev build and feel free to reopen in case you are still able to reproduce your issue.
