Platform:

NetBeans 3.3.2 with all packages up-to-date for
release version

RedHat 7.3 up-to-date with all packages from
RedHatNetork

Ximian Gnome window manager

Java 2 version 1.4.0

Symptoms:

1. opening any directory containing an Ant build
file (xml) causes crash

2. selecting 'New... | Ant' from explorer causes crash

3. Opening Ant build script from File | Open
causes crash

4. logging not captured by ide.log, error from
HotSpot JVM on stdout:

Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.4.0-b92
mixed mode)

Sorry, but doesn't happen to me. I run Linux too (RHL 7.2). If HotSpot
crashes, it is no use reporting it here. If you can *reliably*
reproduce a HotSpot crash, on a fresh machine, please file a bug in
Bug Parade on java.sun.com with complete details.

Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
