Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS x86 JDK 1.8 Update 40 NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 Patch 1 (Build 201411181905) Create Web Project Go To Project Properties and explicitly select Firefox in Run (IDE's default browser is selected by default) Run Project Expected result: Firfox launches or new tab is created and correct URL is loaded Actual result: New firefox window is launched and nothing is loaded If you select IDE's default browser in project properties, everything works fine.
Hm, strange, it works for me without any problem, Firefox opened with proper URL [1]. Does it happen everytime? Does it happen for all your projects? If you select any other browser (except the default one), does it work? Is it reproducible with more servers (Glassfish, Tomcat etc.)? Just trying what could be wrong or different in your scenario in order to reproduce your issue... Simply reopen this issue, thanks.
