Description mjr_1974 2015-02-13 06:48:25 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905)
Operating System = Linux version 3.17.8-031708-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_31
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.31-b07

Even though in my computer I do not have installed Chromium and my default browser is set to Mozilla Firefox, Netbeans cannot open ANY of the browsers and it always complains about Chromium not being installed.

I am sorry, I am not able to reproduce this issue. Could you, please, provide more details? What action do you perform to open the browser (i.e. do you run some project, do you click on a link in editor etc.)? If you run some file/project then what is the selected browser for this project (see Run section of project properties). What is the selected browser for the IDE (in Tools > Options > General > Web Browser). Does it help to change any of these? Thank you in advance.
