[jglick] There were some rumours of Sun coming up with a different approach which on compliant browsers would eliminate the need for the OBJECT tag stuff, in which case this feature would be obsolet

Can be easier now when the htmlconverter is on a classpath. 

Should we implement it as an action available on HTML pages? Something
like 'Convert APPLET tags ...' invoking the converter UI in the IDE
with reasonable presets.
