messages.log

Netbeans just closes randomly since I started using it. I am using JDK 1.7.0_71, Netbeans 8.0.2 on Windows 7. See attached messages.log from my AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\8.0.2\var\log directory. I don't see any other logs being updated when it closes but let me know where to look if you think other logs can help here.

It looks like a JVM crash. I tried a few things including uninstalling jdk 1.7, uninstalling netbeans, installing jdk 1.8 and reinstalling netbeans but it's still the same issue. I've attached the hs_err_pid.log from the latest crash.

Crashes in your ATI graphics card driver (atioglxx.dll).

Can you update the driver?

You can also find various mentions of apps crashing in atioglxx.dll. You may find some guidance there.

Thanks but to be honest, if I have to wait a full month for support on every issue I raise think I have better alternatives to achieve what I want! I abandoned netbeans as a development solution and went with java servlets and freemarker instead.
