Description angelo_fuchs 2015-01-07 14:16:25 UTC
(Bug has gone away after a while see Note2 below)

I just updated my NetBeans and was prompted with another update that I should act on. I think first was Java but I'm not sure. I completed the update and restarted my IDE. After that I was prompted with another update (iirc it was RCP Platform) that had the same subtitle "Startup [1.55.1 -> 1.55.1]". So I completed that as well and restarted my IDE. Now I was prompted a third one "IDE Platform" again with the same subtitle.

Since then every restart brings up one of those updates (Java, RCP Platform, IDE Platform, Spring), always the same subtext (Startup 1.55.1 -> 1.55.2).

I run all the updates as Administrator.

Note: I just tried to run the updates as User then it went away after 3 or 4 updates. But as soon as I start as Administrator and click "Check for Updates" one of them comes back.

Note2: While typing this bug, I kept updating. It is gone now (so you can close this as WONTFIX), but was odd.

So dear future anybody who comes here with the same irritation, just keep on updating.
