The action taken to reproduce the error.

When trying to rename a file in the navigator, netbeans hangs in a endless loop showing the (equivalent) of the eyeglass cursor.

The underlying version control system is Subversion (version 1.8), but I have seen the same issue with Netbeans 7 and also other version of subversion.

OS/X       Yosemite, but also Maverick
Subversion 1.8.9
Netbeans   8.0.2
Hardware   Apple iMac, Apple MacBookPro

We need a thread dump. Please, use NetBeans 8.1 or better a dev version of NetBeans.

Simply reproduce your issue, then create a thread dump, reopen this issue and attach it here (please, do not copy & paste it as a comment).
