Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 (Build 201408251540)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.20-b23

I am debugging and make a change to my code, save the change and with increasing frequency, NetBeans fails to stop at breakpoints. It has deteriorated to the point where I now must exit NetBeans and restart it to get it back into debug.

The breakpoints are missed from the edited/updated/changed file or even from files that stay the same?

This was a previously working environment.
