Description paalgg 2014-10-30 08:37:10 UTC
When printing source code from Netbeans 8.0.1 in Linux Mint 17, special characters does not print correctly. It looks like utf-8 encoded text is not handeled as utf-8 when sent to printing.

Examples:
ø becomes Ã,
å becomes Ã¥

Try printing a file with this content (contains the three Norwegian/Danish characters æøå):
"Ære være Gud i det høyeste, og fred på jorden blant mennesker som har Guds velbehag."

I've installed the original driver for my printer from the producers homepage, and the code is printed correctly from other software when copied and pasted (Pluma, Libre Office Writer).

If it can help with the problem, my printer is a OKI MC352, and the problem occurrs both with the original printer driver and the "Generic PostScript Printer" driver. It does not occur in neither of the drivers when printing from Pluma or Libre Office Writer.
