For Netbeans it is a total pain if you have to have several jdk's installed, because you want to use jdk 8 as default jdk on your system, which runs all your java applications (including Netbeans), but for the business projects you need to use older jdk's like jdk 7.

In this constellation Netbeans will have JDK 8 as 'default' jdk, thus all projects will have this jdk as default jdk preconfigured.
In our business project we have around 30 maven projects just in this one project and it is tedious to change the jdk for EVERY single maven project by rightclicking properties....

There has to be another solution for that....

-) Make it possible to change the 'Default jdk' in Tools/JDK Platforms
-) Have a section to choose a jdk for the current 'Project Group'
