Created attachment 149643 [details] Available project categories Hi. I have 36 modules installed, including HTML5. However, when I try to create a new project, the wizard does not show the needed project category. In fact, it shows only a couple of very basic categories. Screenshot attached. I am looking for "HTML5" project category and for "Cordova Application" project in particular. Please help. Thank you. Gene.

You need to install/enable the HTML5 Kit plugin (and also Cordova Support plugin if you need it). Thanks for reporting.
Can you please provide the links to where I can download these plugins? When I search for either "HTML5" or "Cordova" on http://plugins.netbeans.org/, it says "no matching records found". Thank you.
Use NetBeans IDE directly, Tools > Plugins. If it is not there (should not happen, really), simply download NetBeans from its website. Thanks.
Sorry, but I cannot download and install plugins from the IDE directly. Whenever I try to update the existing or to get new plugins, I get a message saying "Unable to connect to the NetBeans Distribution because of updates.netbeans.org". I have another bug report open separately for that: https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=247621. From where can I download these two plugins ("HTML5 Kit" and "Cordova Support") outside of the IDE? Please advise. Thank you.
Please, stop reopening this issue, there is no issue in NetBeans related to this report, thanks. Simply go to [1] and download NetBeans distribution you need (PHP? All?), install and run it. Thanks. [1] https://netbeans.org/downloads/
Sorry, but I have chosen the complete distribution and installed it in the first place. Why doesn't the HTML5 project category show up AFTER I have installed the most complete NetBeans distribution? Thanks.

No idea, sorry - perhaps broken userdir? You can try to use a clean/different userdir, see [1]. Also, it is _always_ a good idea to attach your IDE log if reporting any issue. Thanks.
