Description Christian Lenz 2014-09-09 09:23:23 UTC
I know I can change some files manually to change the project type maybe from a maven module to a html5 project or whatever, but I don't want to. What I prefer is to change the project type via option. Right click on a project, change project type. The reason is, I used a plugin which supports nodejs projects, the problem is that all folders with a package.json will be handled as node.js projects, the plugin black listed the HTML5 project type for this. The same happens, when I clone a repo from github or whereever, after asking to create a project from the cloned repo source, it was an angular example, netbeans will open it as a node.js project and now I don't have all features for this project type, as I have it for HTML5 projects.

What I prefer too is after cloning a repo to see an option which Project types would be possible and what netbeans prefer, which project type would be good for this one. So that I can see oh nice, I can create a nodejs project or html5 project or JS lib and I can choose by my own. And when I think that was not good, I can change it afterwards.

Regards

Chris
