I know the documents functionality Shift + F4 to see open documents and jump to it and so on, but I don't need the other options inside those window. We have the triangle inside the right upper corner and know if they would have a search field that would be great. I would prefer the functionality as you have it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quick-tabs/jnjfeinjfmenlddahdjdmgpbokiacbbb?hl=de quick tabs will open a list, vis shortcut, with all open tabs and a search field so if you type MC they will find MainCtrl.js, for example and you can jump to it. No overlay over the IDE, only a "drop down with not so much options.". Regards Chris
Ok I know there is the "show openend document list" popup on the right upper corner of the editor, which shows me this "similar" functionality, but I have to use it with my mouse, what I would like to have is an shortcut for this to navigate with my arrow keys. And if I have a lot of tabs, a searchbar on top of it would be good too, to shrink the list to matched files, as quick tabs handle it. I know the documents window with Shift + F4 but I like the little popup most.
Sry for the "similar" description, I saw it now, that I mentioned the triangle before.
Have you pressed Ctrl-Tab?
Yes I did, but It's not what I'm searching for :). If you would like to have a look at the QuickTab plugin, I think you will know what I mean.
I will close it, because it will handled now at the JIRA board: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1262. Please discuss it there for further information.
