I found there is some kinda javadoc manager which doesn't provide any extre functionality then to mount FS and set its appropriate capabilities at once. Why not? If some one like it.... But I'm founding as a big regresion missing "javadoc" TAB in Explorer to have separately visible my javadoc FSs and navigated in them freely as a bird. Does any one observe this? Or it is kinda problem of my linux box with 2 CPU.....I always have troubles and different and strange UI/GUI effect (with the help pf beta jdk1.4.1) (Till very little foretime my Explorer behaves very strange and I couldn't dock into it anything.....) Now I have to make all javadoc "resourcis" (they seem to stoped be FSs) HIDDEN=FALSE, and they mix together in Filesystems TAB with other my "resources"/filesystems with real code... ----- And I might be wrong with the correct component and subcomponent... It is probably more Explorer or Windows system bug isn't it? But for me is related to "javadoc". So if I'm wrong excuse me it.
I am sady to say that "I can't believe that it was an intention to cut out "javadoc" TAB from Explorer" is actually true. The UI team decided that the javadoc tab is not necessary. For justification, please ask on the nbui@ mailing list. Please also see issue #22805, which describes roughly the same requirement, but was marked as an ehnancement by UI team.
Oops ;-) the first sentence of my prev comment should begin with "I am sorry ...". Too many typos this morning ;-)
Dan, you can browse javadoc from Explorer. Javadoc filesystems are mounted as hidden. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 22805 ***
